    Default Wilson Lake Tennessee River

Fished with my Uncle today hes 84 He couldnt catch a cold today He had 2 on I think one was a blue cat it straightened the hook. I ended up with 16 crappie 2 cats about 10 pounds each and a stripe. Water temp was mid 60s but all the fish we caught were staged up on cover in 20 FOW they are more shallow than normal so they are starting to move to the bank. I spotted 2 small largemouth males fanning beds Right on the bank in 6 inches of water. TVA dropped the water another foot today. I wish they would bring it to summer pool b4 the crappie go to the bank. Usually TVA raises the water on the lake on Apr 15. I believe the crappie will move to the bank here any day.

I went down to Upper Bear Sunday and only got 2 couldn't find them nowhere. I talked to a few that went to Rose Trail and done a little better than me but wasn't doing real good there either.
