    Ok I guess those are crappie on beds? Did you catch any to prove what the were? I still struggle with my side imaging unit.

    Most def crappie. Those are not beds but shadows of the fish you are looking at. When you see shadows like that there are lots of fish.

    Bama is correct, hey bama you ever run you gray screen to help the shadows pop out more. Don't know if you saw all the bait fish here, but they will blow you screen up, I 'll run the gray to help me distinguish a little more detail.

    I think on Humminbirds you hit the menu button once to pull up the display options for your active portion of the screen. Near the bottom of that menu is the color palette option where you can change it between blue, orange, green, and gray color schemes.

    Bama has that stuff figure out for sure. I haven't had any trouble with side image it's the rest of it is have trouble with, like finding the brush pile I just marked. That side image is awesome for trolling.
