    Welcome to cdc, I don't fish those lakes but there starting to move up as spawn. I caught them yesterday in a couple of feet of water.

    Thank y'all! Never really fished hard but finally bought a boat so I'm trying to find them. Much different than fishing the pond banks. Haha.

    The spawn is in full swing down here. The females I have caught in the last few days have lost weight and the males are present on the beds.

    Thanks for the replies. Had some boat trouble Tuesday. Throttle and shift cables locked up on my Mercury 25. Hoping to have it fixed soon so I can go.
