I took the day off work and went looking for Crappie before the weather turned cold. I spider rigged in 1 to 4 feet of water. Best bait was a pink and pearl Bobby Garland on a 1/16oz jig head. Water was stained with visibility under 12 inches. The water is 55 degrees in the current, but had warmed to 62 out of the current with the rocky/gravel bottom. I kept half a limit of 10-11 inch fish and returned dozens of short fish. I only caught two slabs, both 16 inches and both returned. Nice day to be on the water.
