I'm trolling with a 31series battery, but use a 18ah for depth finder only. This is on a tracker 1232 with 5hp and 55lb MK Enduramax variable speed.

I have a group 24 dual-purpose on my war eagle. It cranks my 30hp; runs my HB998, trolling motor, and when needed my navigation lights. Use it all day with the HB on and using mostly the trolling motor...and have no problems. Oh, and my phone is charging the whole time.

So group 24, is that two batteries, my motor is pull start so no battery needed for that.

A group size 24, 27, or 31should meet your needs fine. I am running one group size 24 running everything on my war eagle...no problem and always have plenty left when I get home and put it on the charger.

On my Triton I have one starting battery and two group 31 deep cycle for my 24v trolling motor.

I have a 24 crank battery, runs nav lights, depth finder, 2 live well aerator, bilge if needed, interior light, and starts big motor. I have a separate battery for trolling motor. If you run your trolling motor a lot it may cause problems with depth finder.
