Default Help need advice boat rebuild

Hey yall, been working on the 14ft starcraft for awhile this spring im getting her in the water. My question is do you think i have enough support for me deck. I will not be standing and casting but i am going to put an 11inch swivel seat. Along with the two aluminum cross bars im also putting a piece of 2x2 in the center of each. And towards the from there will be a two 2x2s attach together making an L shape for extra support. Any and all suggeations are welcome

Use cardboard and make templates and then cut your plywood. This will save time and materials. Frame it up and then stand on it and see how it feels. Tinboats is a great site.
