    Default Neely Henry Report

Got out today with my dad around 10 and fished till 2. Trolled less than 10 ft water on the lower end of the lake and had 21 keepers, threw back a few keepers near the end of the trip didn't feel like cleaning anymore. Water temps got up to 56, trolling single jigs. Had several solid fish about 1.5 pounds and one 2+ pounder (way bigger than the fish i was getting at wedowee). Several small spotted bass as well. Shot one pier and caught 2 keepers but threw um back. Overall a good trip, little windy, but nice day! I'm headed to Grenada this weekend, hopefully it will work out. Any tips on that lake would be appreciated if anyone has any info.

Thanks for report. Grenada can be good or bad. Rough if wind gets up, be careful. Minnows down there are big so don't be surprised when you buy them. Water is always muddy looking but just use bright colors with chartruse and pinks and orange.

I have a red champion 186 with a 150 yamaha.... I have some pretty distinct rod holders.. they are made out of white PVC pipe.... It's red neck, but it has been working for years......

Sounds like a great trip. Love swinging those big fish into the boat while trolling. WTG
