    Default Neely henry

Made around a 1 1/2 hour trip. Deep docks 18-30' caught 14, 8 keepers 2 biggest went 1.6, 1.6 both came on 1/32 blue ice / white feather hand tie. Rest came on pink/ lime feather, my best representation of electric chicken. Water temp was 55.0 avg. Still marking tons of fish on the ledges, going to down rig them tomorrow if they will corporate.

My dad and I are thinking about trying some long lining in the morning around 8 or so. Have you seen anyone having any luck doing that? We are thinking of putting in around the lakeshore area.
I have been catching them pretty good at Wedowee the past 2 trips, but not driving that far tomorrow.

    Thanks for any information.

You should be able to catch them long lining in the river channel on the ledges around 22'. I was on a dock two days ago and had a boat long lining a ledge, didn't see them catch any, but they were off by about 100' of being on a right ledge. I've been catching fish on the same ledges all winter. I'm just to stubborn to sit and down rig them, or long line them, having to much fun catching them on my hand ties in deep water on 2 lb line. If you make it around canoe creek tomorrow keep an eye out, I 'll be around, and by myself.

I fished Neely henry Saturday morning from 6-12 around lakeshore an ended the d
ay with 12 fish. All the fish I caught were in 22-24 ft of water. They were stacked where main river channel and the creek that runs into lakeshore. All the fish I caught were just 9 inches and I was spider rigging with 1oz weight with feather jigs.Think I could have done better with minnows.

Roger lake shore is just past willow point a little bit. Look for storage buildings on left side. Turn right across from storage units. I think it is lakeshore drive u turn on . Road splits. Stay to left and it will take u to ramp. When u come out of lakeshore if u go straight u will be in shoal. Big crappie put me on this place a few years back.
