Me and my dad have been planning a trip to the lake for over a week. The morning started off very slow. We started on some places I recently found some Crappie to no avail. A little scanning and we found the mother lode. We caught 53 Crappie today casting jigs. The weather was absolutely perfect, I even got some sun. We were using Bobby Garland lights out and Blue Pearl in the morning and when the sun came out switched to Bluegrass and Chartreuse Red Flake. It was a great day on the lake with my dad. We were fishing a North Alabama lake and finding baitfish was the key.
