Made it out for about an hour, the wind was horrible on my lite gear and only grabbed hand ties when I left. Kept 7 smallest was 1.3, biggest 1.13. Fish were there but to much wind when trying to watch the line on the fall, and the line is sideways. Mark lots of fish around the ledge, and continuously showed fish on the graph. Chartreuse, feather 1/64 16-25' water temp 53.2 in bay at my house, river 50.4, little color to parts of the lake, and fighting leaves. Had minnows last night to try and down rig them but a stray cat must of gotten hungry cause I had 0 in the bucket this morning. Going to get minnows in the morning before I head out, going to give them a valiant effort in the morning.

Too blessed to be stressed!
That dog gone weather! Glad you gave it an "allstar" try. Sounds like you got a couple of good ones. Congrats!

Fishing is a privilege...catching is a bonus. Enjoy each precious moment we have to experience our great outdoors!
you did well. I admire your patience and resolve. I have very little of either when it comes to the wind
Glad you caught some. Are the weights you are listing in pounds and ounces?

Great job. I find that in that type of wind only a heavier jig helps me with watching my line and seeing the bite. Might try a double rig when all you have are the light jigs. It's real fun when you get two on the same cast!!
