Had not been on the water in a while and one of my favorite fishing buddies, my youngest daughter, wanted to go down and fish below the dam from the bank. The stripe were prolific! Could not find any crappie, but the stripes kept her interested and amused, you got bit every cast. Now that she is gone to college, I don't get to fish with her as much as we did before she headed out to school. I did manage one nice LGM Bass. Those are always fun in current on 4lb test crappie gear! Saw a fair number of boats fishing the lock wall, assume they were after Jacks. Have heard of a few jacks being caught so far this winter.
