Didn't get out today, but did bank fish in front of house and off the porch. Caught 5 casting from my porch, had the guys on the bank, in front of my house on the causeway. laughing at me when I made my first cast, they stoped laughing when I pulled in a pound and a half slab across my yard,im 6-7' from water. Caught 14 nice 1-2 lb slabs. Watched them come and go all day long on causeway, saw about 20 caught. Plan on getting out tomorrow will give a report on the main lake when I get in.

Wow ! You got them fish trained ( lol ) if you don't go to them .they come to you! Way to go!

Hey slabprowler, Helps when I have those pallets in front of the house. They have been wearing them out on the other side of the causeway. Buddy just called he finished with 27.

Sounds like you got it made with them pallets in the yard!! What did you weight them down with?

I use cinder blocks with concrete in them, and 14-2 electrical wire to attach to the pallets. I'll make one up and post a pic this evening.

Hey Cowboy215 are there any public boat ramps near where you live?

You got south side bridge, the dam, I'm in the middle of the two. In between beaver and canoe creek. There is also greensport marine. And the new ramp up canoe.
Greensport would be the closest to me about 1 1/2 - 2 miles. I'm in the bay on 77 where the two little islands are at.
