A friend and I fished the south end of Guntersville Sunday from noon until dark. We managed 22 keepers with 14 total from boatdocks (most were 10-11 inches). The other 8 were significantly larger at 12-14 inches with the largest at 1.75lbs.
We were using Bobby Garlands on 1/16th jigs fishing anywhere from 8-25FOW. There was a slight advantage on using BG Emerald Shad color, but several other colors caught a few as well. Water temp was 59 and winds were out of the SSE.
The fish were not in a feeding frenzy by any means. We would catch 2 or 3 in one spot, come back 15 minutes later and catch a couple more. Then we would have to move to another spot and repeat. Dropping that jig into the target zone was difficult at times since there was actually some current yesterday and windy at times.

Nice catch!
That's very nice. I think Guntersville consistently produces some of the best looking crappie around. Congrats on the catch!
