    Default Limestone Bay Report 10-29

Fished the north end of limestone bay today from 7-2 and my friend and I caught and released 32 crappie, most of which were 10-12 inches. caught 5 early and then lost the bite till 11 or so when I figured out they were in the middle of the creek and deep. Used bobby garlands on white or black heads counted down to 5 and retrieved as slowly as possible. The bite seemed to come and go with small pods of baitfish and twice I saw large crappie surface to feed on shad but never could get those to bite.

Thanks for the report. Sounds like you had a long, but great day. I have stayed off the water for the last week or so waiting for a bit cooler weather.

Good report thanks for sharing. I was wondering how windy was it in Limestone bay? I headed that way and noticed the flags standing straight out at the car lots in Decatur and went back down to Flint this afternoon.
