Glad to hear you got to go and good job on a fine catch. The last time I was up there the fish we caught were also very nice fish. I also experienced the problem of not being able to launch at one of the ramps.

Fished Weiss for a little while sat. I wanted to watch football games so only fished about for hrs. Found fish along channel ledges in 12 to 17 feet of water. Kept 15 nice fish. Fish are very healthy and fat. If you are coming to Weiss and do not know the lake extremely well be careful. Lake is very low for this time of year. There are only a few ramps usable. We need rain bad!

Glad you was able to get out and catch em.
Coach can you still cross the road bed at dead end bridge?
When nothing is going right, Just go fishing.

I was there last week and NO you can not cross the road bed. You can actually see the old road bed now sticking out above the water level.
Good trip of fish. Yep
Every day is a holiday and every meal is a picnic.

Having the same issue with low water here in the Carolinas too.
If we don't get some rain soon, the ramps will be high and dry and so will the boats. Good report and congrats.
Good luck with some much needed rain.
Thank a Veteran every chance you get.
Great report. Congrats on the catch. As with many lakes and rivers, we definitely need more water and cooler temps.
