Sweet, I might know those baits:biggrin
Bob on my home lake in Ga. it's a highland reservoir deep gin clear. We use 1/8-1/4 heads to get to the brush piles in 12-18' of water we make short casts and troll at .06 mph over brush piles and catch them that way. The lake just doesnt set up for cranks that well but will hit soft plastics pulled over head, some time have to tip with a minnow. But I'd rather not tip, seeing I am a bait maker lol.
LB, best colors for me where blue, black and blue, sour grape, june bug all southern pro jigs w/ a chartreuse tail. Your baits that SP had were producing as you could see in the photos. I also had a blue w/chartreuse tail slider that was working too. I was getting bit w/ chartreuse, pink and orange jig heads.
Congratulations Bob, I use 1/8 a lot
