David Richards graduated with me from Arab in 1980. He had less than a month from being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer to the end. He will be missed.

Well,guys I have had a hard time coming here since David passed as He was my best friend first and fishing buddy second. Not a weekend from september till on into may if we were both off and in town that we would not be long lining or bridge fishing some where on the big G. Sometimes Id take the weekend off and bank fish and let him go chase Strippers below gville dam as that was almost as good as fishing for crappie to him. 7 weeks ago we were on a crank pulling outting and there was no sign of anything wrong with him, that was my last time to fish with him.........in 5 weeks from then he passed. He did not have a chance as by the time the cancer manifested itself it was too late. Keep his wife and mom and dad in your prayers . David was his parents only child .
