Default Kayak Trip Report, Hurricane Creek (Little Cove Rd)

Made another trip to Hurricane Creek today again working upstream from Little Cove Road. I fished several different small spinners catching small gills and bass all day. I only caught 5 small Crappie, but found some good holes where I'm sure there are some nice Crappie for another trip. I kept 15 large gills for dinner, returned everything else. I even returned a 4 pound bass and a couple smallmouth in the 2 pound range. Fun day to be on the water, it stayed cool and cloudy all day. The water was clear with visibility of about two feet and 72 degrees.

Nice Job! Sounds like a perfect day to be on the water...I believe it was close to 100 degrees here working in the garage.

Nice. That water is mighty cool compared to down here.
Every day is a holiday and every meal is a picnic.
