I gave Hurricane Creek a try this morning putting in at Little Cove Rd. I only got to fish a couple hours before thunder to the North chased me off but I managed two small Crappie, a couple dozen small gills, a dozen bass and five catfish all returned. I need to explore some more, but an interesting area that I'll return too.
