    Default Kayak bass tournament

Is anyone fishing the kayak bass tournament on wheeler August 6? If my daughter didn't have a soccer tournament that day I'd be there. Big fish wins about $3000 with of kayak and accessories.

I'm right 97 percent of the time, the other 4 percent doesn't matter.

What is the entry fee and who is hosting? Tournament hours?

I think entry is $20. Look up kayakbassfishing.com

Looks like 2 tournaments actually and you can enter both if I read it right...one for big bass $20.00 and one for $75.00. Big bass is for a Wilderness Systems Atak Kayak, crate, paddle and pfd. Looks like both tournaments go for 2 days...Looks like too much sun for me..one day maybe.

The Walmart FLW Tour is August 4-7, 2016 Wheeler Lake... I'm not sure I would want to be any where on Wheeler Lake in my KAYAK with all those Big Bass Boats running all over the place at 60-70 mph. Then add all the spectators boats and jet skis...

I agree if I was going to fish I would be in some back water that the big bass boats would not be running in. I may try to make some of the weigh ins this week....FLW and Kayak.

You can hardly hide from those bass guys on Wheeler too. I have seen where the pros will take those expensive sponsored boats up in some SHALLOW water. They raise the jack plate all the way and treat their 250 hp like a mud motor.
