Monday report for limestone creek

I fished for a little while Monday morning at limestone creek. I put in where ditch did and fished upstream to the bridge that goes over the private road. Only caught 10 or so bluegill and a catfish. I discovered my kayak does not go upstream over the swift shoals very well . Could not get them to hit anything but the small spinner with white grub. Coming back down stream with a little speed, the shoals were a breeze. Swan creek is looking better and better .

There's some good water just downstream from that put in that's also good and a easy paddle.

FYI, I can get upstream to the first bridge easy, but have to get out under the bridge and drag upstream about a 100 feet to keep going.

The spot down stream where you cross the creek to get to the field looked good. How is he fishing above the bridge ? Couldn't tell on goggle earth how wide or deep it is
