Nice job...is it in the shade? By 10:00 I am about ready to get off the water and cool for a while.

I fished Limestone Creek this morning for a few hours putting in off Mooresville Road and working up stream. I kept a limit of big gills returning hundreds more. I also caught a couple dozen bass, but only three Crappie. It seemed everything was biting this morning except the Crappie, even caught a couple perch and a smallmouth.
Best bait was a 1/32oz beetle spin in orange and black.

90% in the shade, hottest part is standing in the sun to load when you leave.

Nice catch!!!!
That looks like a fun trip DB, way to go.
nice messcongrats
90% in the shade sounds like the kind of place we are going to be hunting later this week. I may have to get the boat out and start fishing at night.
Nope, I'm going to continue exploring isolated creeks away from the other kayak anglers, LOL. The sport is getting too popular. I can't even go to the Flint river without running into other kayaks or canoes now.
Nice catch. are they on bed? I seen the moon as almost full last night.

Ditch do you ever do any night fishing in the Kayak? I have been aiming to rig up a 360 degree light for fishing late in the afternoon and coming in at dark and a little after. Even though most of the time I am on water that boats don't travel.
