I fished Madison County Lake today from 6AM till a little after lunch. I returned a couple 15 inch slabs and kept 7 Crappie, 6 cats and 1 shellcracker.

The fish were scattered, I got chased off by the rain before I found a pattern. The water was 85 degrees and stained with visibility of about 12 to 18 inches and about two feet low. The lake will closed tomorrow at sunset until the new lake manager arrives. Allen Smallwood has resigned his position.
