Good looking mess of fish in the heat!
I'm also glad to see someone else fishing artificials. I seem to do as well or better than the minnow draggers, but I get to worry about the bite, not trying the keep the minnow alive, LOL.

A day late. Fished Three Rivers lake yesterday from 6:30 till 11:30. Bite was slow for me. Had a dozen keepers 10 to 13 inches with about a dozen throw backs fishing in 12 to 14 FOW. The fish I caught were biting around 5 to 7 FD. No minnows died by my hand yesterday. Water temp up to 91.![]()

By the way, I plan to do some old school, shallow water spider rigging this Saturday. I've spent a good part of the spring and summer trying to figure out how to catch gills consistently on artificials when they're not on the bed.
Not bad at all for a hot summer day!
I'm working on getting my confidence up on the artificial only. Its kinda hard to get away from minnows all together. I had a cloud cover for most of the morning but when the sun came out it was hot hot hot. I love my brella
