    Default Mobile delta report

A day late. Fished Three Rivers lake yesterday from 6:30 till 11:30. Bite was slow for me. Had a dozen keepers 10 to 13 inches with about a dozen throw backs fishing in 12 to 14 FOW. The fish I caught were biting around 5 to 7 FD. No minnows died by my hand yesterday. Water temp up to 91.Name: image.jpg

Good looking mess of fish in the heat!

I'm also glad to see someone else fishing artificials. I seem to do as well or better than the minnow draggers, but I get to worry about the bite, not trying the keep the minnow alive, LOL.

By the way, I plan to do some old school, shallow water spider rigging this Saturday. I've spent a good part of the spring and summer trying to figure out how to catch gills consistently on artificials when they're not on the bed.

I'm working on getting my confidence up on the artificial only. Its kinda hard to get away from minnows all together. I had a cloud cover for most of the morning but when the sun came out it was hot hot hot. I love my brella
