Returning to Weiss after 30 years, seeking tips

Myself and two buddies are taking an extended weekend trip to Weiss over the holiday. I have fished there hundreds of times, but the most recent was over 30 years ago. I was just hoping someone could share some general tips about how to catch some. I would love to be able to put them on some crappie, but we are not proud. Bream or cats would be cool also. We are staying at Little River Marina, but my old stomping grounds are in the Big Nose Creek areas. Thanks.
