Default Kayak Trip Report, Swan Creek*

I made a short trip to Swan Creek this morning. A small spinner again, single pole. I kept half a limit of Gills and Crackers, returned about as many smaller ones. Not a bad morning.

I fished the North end where the spring comes in this morning. The beaver dam is holding good so there's still an extra couple feet of water there. FYI, snakes were all over, I saw a dozen or so on or near the beaver dam. Did you do any good? You can PM if you don't want to broadcast, though it's unlikely anyone will be able to get into Swan Creek for the rest of the year as low as the water is.

Great catch. The couple of times I have been I only caught the gills, no shell crackers. Did you see any on the bed ? The spot below the dam looks like a good spot as well. Don't think I would want to get out of the kayak and drag it down there, too snaky for me. didn't see any snakes the last couple of trips I made. Thanks for the reports .

Ditch, have you ever fished below the dam where the 2nt small lake is ? Looks like a great spot but a bit snaky. Want to try a frog in there for bass as well. Hope they don't tear the dam down this summer.
