Is there anybody that fishes on wheeler, been doing any good behind the boat harbor? Wondering if anyone has been catching any there. Deciding where to go can be a tough decision some times

I haven't been on Wheeler in few weeks, but Limestone Bay is always a sure thing. Sometimes they're deeper in the creek connecting the bay to the river, other times scattered on the flat flats. There always seems to be good numbers there once you find them though.

My buddy and his brother hit the stumps fishing minnows Saturday and did not catch anything

yeah, I didn't catch a crappie in Flint deep or shallow. Had a few stripe and gills plus a nice cat. Couldn't keep the big gar off my hooks.
