It's not bad that time of year. Night fishing will be your best bet. Some will be on docks also. Just give me a pm when you're down and I can help you more.

My cousin is getting married in June and we're staying at a place on Lake Wedowee. I would like to take my boys fishing while we're down there for the week. Is this a good Crappie lake that time of year? Not looking for anyone's honey holes, just some general ideas to work off.
I'm trying to find out from the people we're staying with if we'll have access to a boat, because I'm sure that will have an affect on where I can take them.
Thanks in advance

Crappie Trooper LIKED above post
Get with me closer to June if u don't have a boat. I will carry u and your sons out fishing. That time of year u have to fish at night.
Any body fishing 3/7 . Fished Friday - Sat. and Sun . Fri. and Sun. was good. Sat I could not fine any hungry fish. This week should be good.
I'm going in the morning
How u do? We fished Wed. and Thurs. caught 57 Wed. Weather was great but wind did not cooperate. Blew us off lake Thurs. by lunch still caught 33. Crappie are still in creek channels 15 - 20 ft water. Trolling is your best bet right now.
We didn't about the same but we caught some on docks to
We may go this evening too I'll report if we go
