Another Great Trip to Dads

Just got home from another great fishing trip to Neely, fished two weeks ago and again this week, fish were right where we left them two weeks ago, you North East Alabama guys sure have several great crappie fisheries to choose from. Looking forward to the days I can retire and fish there a little more often, twice a year is not enough. Be safe and tight lines.

Glad you enjoyed your trips to Neely Henry. Of all the lakes we have around here Neely Henry is my overall favorite. Wish you good luck on being able to retire. I have been retired now for 2 1/2 years and really enjoy it.

Glad you got some on Neely Henry. What area were you in if you don't mind me asking? I have been doing well on the lower end in the backs of the creeks. You guys talking about retiring and being retired got me jealous. 27 more years for me. Durn it.

Roger I've been fishing Neely for about 8 years now and every trip I make a point to fish a new area to gain a little knowledge, I remember the first time I was on the lake we saw several boats long lining in Canoe and decided to jump in line, that ruined me, I'm now a long line junky. Thought about fishing with ya'll Saturday in your tournament but didn't want to ruffle any feathers.

You would have been welcome. We put in a new rule this year that says you may come fish 1 tournament without paying a membership fee to see if you like it. You do have to pay the tournament entry fee and if you finish in the money you are required to then pay the membership dues. Good luck and I hope to see you on the water some day.
