Wheeler report 3/28

Fished Wheeler this morning pushing jigs at the mouth of flint. NW Wind was terrible blowing right into the creek. Had to drag drift socks to slow the boat down when I turned to go back with the wind. Ended up scratching out 22 in the short trip was back on the trailer at 12. I fished just about everywhere from mouth back towards point mallard and up toward the cut going to Suzi hole. Just picking them up one at a time here and there. Water was 60.5 when I got there and 62 when I left caught most of the fish on BG hot lips pink.

I could have taken an early lunch and helped you out....you could have picked me up and dropped me off at the dock at work....you went right by. Good job I plan on getting out Saturday.

It is hard enough to stay at work some days without having a park with boat dock and launch 150 yards away.

Hopefully we won't get add much rain as they are calling for. Is like to get back after them but 2 inches will have flint and limestone a mess
