Logan Martin report 03/09/2016
Water temp was 59 degrees this morning and 63 at noon. Water looked very stained.
I did not catch any crappie. I trolled 1/16 oz grubs in water from 5 to 14 feet deep. I tried different colors and speeds from .6 to 1.1 mph. It was very windy so I was limited to where I could troll. I also tried fishing some brush piles in 10 to 16 feet of water. I also tried casting in very shallow water. I talked with a couple of guys from Georgia. They had been fishing Logan Martin the last couple of days. They had not caught much either.
I am about to give up and go back to green carp fishing.
With the water temperature hitting 60 the male crappie should be heading to the beds soon.
