Lake Mitchell any reports?

I usually fish the Jones bluff but can't buy a bite. Was thinking about taking family up to Mitchell for a change of scenery. I've never been there

Fish lay downs in Hatchett creek lots of 8 3/4 fish have to weed through them the fish have been between 8-12 ft. deep on the lay downs

Thanks Adam. Wife said it might b to cold this Saturday, but we will go in the next couple of weeks. Mitchell is the only lake I haven't fished on the coosa chain.

Talked to a guy today said they wore them out a few days ago long lining in 20 ft of water

Thanks greenie. That's what we will b doing. Longlining of course, not wearing them out.
