I believe I will try the night bite Friday, had a buddy catch 8 nice ones from 3 to dark today on minnows.

From a boat or what? What lake? I'll be going to the Pier around 12, but park closes at 5 so no night fishing for me. I'm still trying to hitch a ride on a boat somewhere. Lol.
It is just very windy with a cold breeze right now. I'm in Calera.

Mamba334 I've been catching them from the bank off of 77 at lake shore also behind the old pancake house just off of I20.

The point's around the causeways and bridges are good right now when current is present. Boat or bank fishing these areas will produce fish.I can cast to the boats were I fish most times and out catch boaters.

That's a 2 hour trip for me. I'm trying to fish local today. I just came in from outside and that wind chill is rough. Might not go today.
