Have some experience and a few thoughts. What are you wanting to know? What lakes do you fish and what is your typical fishing method? On second thought, all that really does not matter. Go ahead an get you one...![]()

Does anybody have any experience or thoughts on the Humminbird 360 Imaging fish finder?

hahaha, I usually fish creeks on the TN or out on Guntersville. I fish various ways, but enjoy finding under water structure and fishing it with a jig and more open water style of fish compared to just fishing tree tops all the time. Just depends on the time of year and I enjoy trolling in the right conditions.
Basically, is the HB 360 worth the money? Sure looks like it makes finding structure all around you much easier and you don't have to spend as much time searching and you can locate stuff around the entire boat at once and see any changes like bait fish moving.
My 360 really shines when the fish are schooling around not holding in the same spot on structure.
If mine disappeared off my boat, I would have a new one before the weekend! Today is Thursday!

Here's what a 360 can do for you
I don't mean to hijack this thread but Lee explain what this is showing I am thinking about getting me one.

The black is the water column below boat and the amber is the bottom. The dots are fish. They are easier to distinguish against the black background. They were loaded in there yesterday.
So what exactly is the water column and why do you not see the bottom beneath the boat?
The 360 has a dead spot straight under it as it shoots out a beam. The beam angle toward the bottom until it hits it. The deeper the water the bigger the black area. I was roughly in 30 fow yesterday.
