    I seen some commercial fisherman out on the Mississippi on days that made me think....man. But those North sea crabbers....good grief.

    He's a good fisherman! Since they outlawed nets they are having a tough time. Once the Asian Carp get here we'll be begging them to fish.

    He's probably the guy I saw putting out 12 nets on each of the 4 corners of Browns creek bridge last fall late in the evening about dusk. He laid out 4 per corner starting about 150 200 yards off each corner . I was amazed at his speed of getting them out of the boat and inplace,but guess hes been at it most of his life I did not think you could use netting but have been told it has to be 3 inches or larger and all game fish caught have to go back dead or alive

    Makes me think back to the years I commercial fished the gulf coast. It's a hard life and hard way to make a living but the independence a person plying this trade feels is what motivates you to carry on. Some people have no choice but to buy seafood that has to come from a commercial fisher
