We tried a while near Scottsboro
It wasn't a hot bite but we managed to catch a few nice ones. We caught 25 and kept 17 that are shown in the picture. All were caught in 8-10 feet with Garland baits. I mostly used a double rig with two 1/32 oz head, one with Watermelon Wine and the other was Blue ice. I also caught a couple on the chartreuse pearl. You pretty much had to make them bite. The water has mostly cleared and is back near winter level. All in all, it was a nice day to be out and catch a couple of slabs.
