Thanks for all the information. I just checked the Weiss Lake water level and Alabama power said that the lake should crest at 568' on Wednesday. Even in the Mobile area our rivers are already up and in 7 to 10 days it will be out of the banks. It normally takes that long to get here from North Alabama. I will just postpone the trip till March unless my wife can get a day of vacation in Feb. then we could make a long weekend trip. I had rather fish during the week but sometimes it is just not possible.

I came across the browns creek causeway about noon today and for the first time in a long time the water on both sides is muddy. Lots of floating stuff too and a few boats launching.Hope they go slow!!
