    Default stripe report June 20-22

Changed gears this weekend and chased stripe and hyrbids. They were schooled up pretty heavy and we quit yesterday and today because of bleeding fingers and sore shoulders. Most of the fish were caught on 1/16 ounce jigheads slider grubs 4lb test and b&m dockshooters. A few came on a Yamamoto walking bait. The bottom two fish I caught were on the dockshooter.with the slider grubs

Those slider grubs and really the most versatile bait I've ever seen. You give me my dockshooter and a handful of jigheads and slider grubs and I won't go hungry

Good job! Those sliders are great baits.

That's what makes it so fun. It really surprisedme that the bigger fish would hit those crappie jigs like that. We were fishing up there one day and we couldn't get then to hit top water or a 4 inch curly tail grub so I pulled out that little sharpshooter and went to catching the fire out of them. Gotta have a spinning reel with a good drag though they melted my little sienna down saturday

Man that looks like a ton of fun! It's always a trip when you hit one out just crappie fishing, must have been a hoot actually targeting them.
