Default 1/2 day Neely Henry tournament report

We had 9 boats attend which we considered good for the heat we have right now. The water temps I saw were 88-89. The winners were Joe Hayes and Phil Trapp. Their weight for 7 crappie was 9.72 and they also had big fish which was 2.40, a real big fish for this time of year. Some of the teams said they caught lots of crappie and some did not catch many. There were lots of reports of many catfish being caught while crappie fishing. It was very hot and uncomfortable out there fishing so we will not have another tournament any time soon. We are thinking about having another one some time in the late fall so watch for the announcement. Everyone be safe and have a wonderful summer.
