Weiss in the summer

I plan to try and learn where the fish are in the upper part of the lake. Cranks just don't seam to work plus the loads of structure in the lake has me going to some type slow troll with jigs. Watching electronic's for suspended fish. I want to start for the first few hours in the mornings searching dissecting the lake bit by bit. My set up will probably be 1/2 oz. sinkers with jigs above maybe tipped. I'm challenging myself to get better and find fish all summer. Any ideas would be helpful.
