Looks like it has the 2 key things you'll want. #1 is a HIGH back. Every now and then you'll want to just lean back and relax...A good high back support is very important in my opinion. #2. It's adjustable. Those 2 straps on the side (at least on mine, that look very similar) make the angle of the seat back pretty easy. There is one other seat function that I REALLY like about the Native Ultimate 12, and that is ...you can adjust the height. It's just a personal thing with me, but I don't like sitting (or having the seat itself sitting) on the bottom of the kayak. Mine has a metal frame and in fact, you can store 2 small thin tackle boxes under the seat. Of course the higher you are in the yak, the less stable it is!
