Joey Nania crappie expert !

I met Joey Nania this morning at Logan Martin while I was launching my boat. He has a fishing show called Sweetwater. He was very friendly and gave some good tips on crappie which helped a lot. I wound up catching about 20 crappie, 5 or so bass and a stripe. The biggest bass weighed 2 lbs 5 oz and the stripe weighed 2 lbs 12 oz. All but a couple of the crappie were dark males. I was trolling in 5 to 10 foot depths. My grubs were 3 to 5 feet from the surface. I trolled at .7 to .9 mph. Color did not seem to matter. I trolled in shallow flats away from the bank. Nice fish and good report. Sweetwater is a good show I watch it a lot.
