Bankhead lake 5/4/13

Me and my brother got a late start due to the weather, got to the lake around 11:30 am . Wasn't figuring to do to much with this rain and cold front, but to our surprise we did ok !! I figured fish would be slow and the bite would be a little deeper maybe on the end of the deeper tops, not the case.. The surface temp was 65/66 degrees the water was stained and the fish were 3 to 5 foot deep at the edge of weed beds and brush. The fish we caught today were late spawners full of eggs..caught them on curly tail grubs black body chart tail. Brought home 28!!
