dock shooting on weiss

does anyone know if the crappie are starting to hit around the docks on weiss or neeley henry ?

I've been hearing good reports on neely henry. It's not the best time for docks yet but you can do well at times.

Just got back from Weiss and the fish was in yellow creek stacked like firewood in 17 to 25 feet of water long lined bobby garland screamer slab slayers with orange jig heads 1/16.all fish was 10 feet down.fished sat.and sun.it was cold and windy.got 160 crappie total none over 12" I thank if you fish docks in this area with the warm weather they are going to have should be on docks.all of my fish was ready to bust full of eggs.hope this helps.

I shot docks on Saturday in the Spring creek area, no luck. Water was 59 degrees. They'll turn on for dock shooting once water hits about 65-67 degrees.

thanks for the info guys , took my son on his spring break 4/1/ thru 4/4/ and we brought home 140 keepers in 3 1/2 days ,had a little bad weather but caught ours shooting docks in the main river channel on the bay spring end. found fish in 2 feet to 15 feet of water around the docks . monkey milk and jiffy jig jj17 was our best colors.
