3-29-15 Lake Guntersville report.

Fished Town Creek / Belefonte area. Fish were in the channel accessible from the bank and being caught from boats anchored out. Was catching them around 5 feet deep. I caught 12 from 2 to 4pm. All fish were 9"s and under. Only saw a few fish kept on the boats. Fished float and fly and swam a Road Runner both with Bobby Garland Baby Shad in Butter Belly color.

I would have liked to have found some good fish. But at least the cold front didn't displace them too bad.

Glad to hear someone is catching them up there. Thinking about making a day trip up there this week if the weather cooperates.

They were all small. Hopefully they will move up in the next couple of weeks.

Went last wed morning ended up with 24 keepers 8 short fish several bass and several stripe only was able to troll about 2 hrs had to be at work at 8 but the cold front had slowed them went Saturday evening 3 hrs only 11 keepers.

Fished down your way last week Jack caught some keepers big one 14 inches and a lot of small ones. Fished from the bank and had to compete with the boats for a spot from the shoreline.Just can not understand with all the open water the boats have to fish on top of you.

alabamaal, I have been in that position before I had a boat. I did not get aggrevated that the boats wanted to fish in the same general areas, it was when I was there first and they cut me off that made me mad. I now have a boat and I still fish areas near the banks, that is where a lot of the fish are at times. I am respectful of bank fishermen and I usually get to any spot I want to fish before anyone else. If I plan on fishing an area where bank fishermen fish as well, I try to be respectful and leave room for them to fish the same area. If you would like to go with me in the boat sometime, I would be happy to have you along
