12 keepers 1 cat a mix of males and females no sign of bedding yet. First cast with a jig crappie then nothing ,first cast minnow keeper.Live bait was on the menu from 1 to 5p.m.Threw back 8 short ones and some cats. The current was just right for awhile then it shut down around 4;30 and the bite stopped.
Must have been spring break kids with parents and grandparents out in full force,big yellow lab chasing boat and corks was interesting .He appreciated me removing the hook from his lip.Two young eagles caught more fish than most others very kool to watch.Scotsboro area fish were 2 feet deep fishing near 2 to 8 foot of flow.

I was bass fishing near South Sauty. I caught two crappie on a 3/4 oz rattle bait in 2 ft of water. They were on stumps. Both weighed about two lbs each. So they are starting to do their thing. Big waves will come in another week or so.
