Nice! Hoping to get out a few days this week. Not been fishing much yet this year. Need some crappie in the freezer.

I had trouble finding fish at LM as well sunday. I started in the back of a creek with a lot of bait, fished it hard, moved out to deeper water, managed to catch one nice fish around a dock in about 6 ft of water but never could catch another. I heard they were biting well saturday, why do you think they turned off overnight? Or did they go deeper? I fished hard and was perplexed why I couldn't find any.

Had a friend how caught them good on brush in 8 ft. He found some warm water in one of the creeks. My boat is in the shop so we were in a flat bottom. Could not go run them down. if I had my big boat I think I could have done better. By this weekend the should be on the banks. I really can't say what they were doing Sunday because we were limited to one spot.

Thanks. I haven't rigged up my depth finder yet so I am really struggling to find fish that aren't right up on shallow structure.

I think the barometric pressure dropped on Sunday with that N wind. My experience is that the fish get lock jaw on the back of a pressure drop like that. I had the same problem yesterday on Guntersville.

You might be right. Usually I can move and make something work but I don't have that option right now. Hopefully I will back in business this weekend. Bob I'll give you a call when I get going and we'll go.
