There will be areas that are muddy but stained water will be available too. I hope to go to Town Creek tomorrow but there's 100% chance of rain tonight and tomorrow. Might be Saturday before I can get out there.

I have found muddy and stained water as well. Bass fisherman are all over the place fishing a tournament.

All the bass fishermen are in town and will be fishing Guntersville heavy for the next 2 weeks. The Big Bass Splash Tournament is at the end of the month and they are getting ready for it. The water is stained here due to the recent rains.

The wind is howling this morning so no boat in the water me till it calms down. Weather Channel says 12mph from ESE with gusts to 20mph. I'd say that's accurate.

Saturday was the day to be out apparently. I only managed 9 but they were 13 and 14 inch fish. Several guys that I talked to caught 15 or twenty but I didn't talk to anyone with a limit. I was trying a couple of new things and not sure if I learned anything or not. Time will tell.

Today, Sunday, the water was up about 1 foot from what it was yesterday and TVA wasn't pulling any water. My trolling motor didn't work for the first 2 hours and I finally found the bad ground. I ended up with one 13 inch fish. About 0730 it got so dang foggy that visibility was down to about 100 feet. It was probably 0930 before the fog lifted. Water temp is 54 to 56 degrees
