    Getting ready to pull the trigger and make reservations for a crappie trip with my 11 year old son. Which lake? Guntersville or weiss? Opinions please?

    If you want a guided trip, Bama S is a guide on lake Martin and Jordon. He is a member here

    If you want a guided trip to weiss call Jim Forest as he is on the fish. Go to fishbama.com or like him on Facebook. I like weiss for crappie and Guntersville for bass.

    Your gonna have a week to fish so you might want to try both. they are not that far apart. I live on Weiss and guide a little part time but my time is limited to weekends. I do not have a license to guide on gville but grew up on the lake and will be glad to help you with either one. Both lakes should be good a t that time.
