I mounted new hummingbird last year. bad spray from transducer. took it off mounted a small fiberglass to boat. then you can adjust transducer in your best view and get rid of water spray by moving it up a little without new holes in boat.. look up hummingbird side imaging group on Facebook

I had one on one of my boats. Worked up to about 15 mph. Good for duck boats if you're worried about breaking it off.

How about epoxy, can you mount it inside the boat? Or is there something I don't know. He said he just wanted a depth reading. Fill me in.

Regular transducers won't shoot through an aluminum hull
